Gilbert Isbin's compositions (solo lute, lute duet, voice/lute duet, lute/recorder/viola da gamba, guitar solo, guitar duet, guitar quartet, ensemble, – almost 100 - are published by Berben Ediziones Musicales (Italy), The UK Lute Society, Lantro Music (B), Golden River Music (B), Kameleon Editions (B. Disc releases related to Gilbert Isbin are now approaching twenty.
Some of his luteworks have been featured in the ''Le joueur du Luth' (Soc. Française du Luth), 'Geluit' (Belgian Lute Academy), Nostalgia (LGS- Japan), Tablatuur (The Netherlands).
His compositions have been performed by a.o. the guitarquartet Four Times A Lady, Quartetto Chitarristico Italiano, the Spectra Ensemble, Sandro Di Stefano, De Camer van Musiecke, Lieven Misschaert,...
Gilbert performed all over Europe and in the US. Together with lutenist Lieven Misschaert he founded Meander, concentrating on original contemporary lute duets and compositions for voice and 2 lutes.
