************************************************************

Matthew Leigh Embleton was born in 1978 and has been self taught on
percussion and keyboards since the age of 7. He has been recording and releasing experimental modern electronic music since 1998. He took up the Lute in 2009 as an experiment to see if it could be combined with his electronic music releases, but has since been heavily influenced by the Renaissance and Baroque repertoire for the lute. It’s his ambition to compose for the lute so that it has a place in Modern music as well as Classical.
