Theresia Bothe - voice & Peter Croton - lute
These
four songs were composed for accompaniment with 10-course renaissance
lute, but are easily adaptable for a 7-course instrument. The lute
parts are notated in French tablature. The vocal parts are
mid-range, suitable for mezzo-soprano, alto, or lyric baritone. The
style is
modern, yet melodic and quite accessible for performers and listeners
accustomed to early music. An audio CD accompanies the scores.
